What Mobile Detailing Actually Looks Like
A professional mobile setup is not a guy with a bucket in your driveway. We show up with dual-action polishers, steam cleaners, wet-dry vacuums, extraction equipment, and a full supply of professional-grade products. Everything a dedicated shop has, loaded into a vehicle and brought to you.
Pristine is fully self-contained. We carry our own water and power. You don't need to provide a hookup, though we'll use your hose if you'd prefer. All we need is access to the car.
The Convenience Math
Taking a car to a shop means driving it there, dropping it off, figuring out a ride home, waiting for a call, and then going back to pick it up. On a typical weekday that's two to three hours of logistics, and that's assuming the job stays on schedule.
Mobile is different. You book a time, leave the car in your driveway or parking lot, and go do whatever you'd normally do. We're done when we're done and the car is where you left it.
For anyone running a busy schedule, managing kids, or working from home, mobile just fits better.
Most of our customers book while they work from home. The car is done before they finish their workday.
Quality: What's Actually Different?
For everything Pristine does, interior cleaning, exterior decontamination, machine polishing, paint correction, ceramic coating application, the quality ceiling is the same as a shop. Same techniques, same products, same equipment.
Shops do have a genuine advantage for work that requires a controlled environment: full paint resprays, spray booth work, structural bodywork. That's real. But none of that falls in our service range. For detailing specifically, mobile delivers the same result.
Your Vehicle, Your Driveway
Mobile detailing lets you watch the work if you want to. You're not handing your keys to a busy shop and hoping everything goes the way it should.
No keys sitting on a hook in a back room. No waiting room. No calling twice to find out where your car is. For high-value vehicles, exotics, or cars that carry personal significance, a lot of owners like being able to stay close by. That's an option with mobile.
When a Shop Makes More Sense
If you need a full paint respray, collision repair, or structural bodywork, a dedicated body shop is the right call. That work requires a controlled spray environment and equipment a mobile setup can't replicate.
But at that point you're no longer talking about detailing. That's a different category of work entirely.
